Services & Planning

Every family has different wishes, traditions and needs. We’ll help you understand your options and guide you through decisions with care and respect.

Funeral Services

A funeral offers relatives and friends time to gather, share memories, support one another and say goodbye in a way that feels comfortable for the family.

Traditional Funeral Service

A traditional funeral service may include visitation the evening before and a service in the chapel, church or another chosen location. A procession and committal may follow, with a reception for family and friends. Readings, music and personal details can make the ceremony your own.

Memorial Service

A memorial service can take place at the funeral home, a family residence, an eldercare centre, a church or outdoors. It offers family and friends time to remember and celebrate a life, before or after burial or cremation.

Committal Service

A committal service is a brief gathering at the gravesite or place of service, where family and friends can say a final goodbye.

Direct Disposition

Direct cremation or burial is arranged without a funeral ceremony. Our staff can explain the required paperwork and permits, and help you understand available choices.

Cremation Services

Cremation does not mean giving up the opportunity to gather, remember and honour a loved one. Families can choose from a range of meaningful service options.

A variety of options

A service or memorial may take place before or after cremation. Families may choose a gathering, a personalized ceremony, and a final resting place that reflects their wishes.

Gatherings & ceremonies

Music, readings, stories and personal items can help create a service that reflects a person’s life. A ceremony may be simple, contemporary, religious or secular.

Final disposition

Cremated remains may be buried, placed in a columbarium, kept at home or scattered where permitted. A funeral director can help families consider their options and any local requirements.
